Multiple Facets Inc. was created for the sole purpose of developing mobile applications for the Android Platform. The company mission is to contribute to the growth of the platform by creating content which will appeal to a large audience and will demonstrate the true potential of the platform.
Here are the main reasons we embraced the Android Platform:
1) It is an Open Source platform supported by a group of 30 or more technology companies which includes wireless operators, hardware and software vendors.
2) All Android applications are equal. There is no locked functionality which would available only to privileged applications.
3) The platform employs a modern graphical design, a powerful user interface framework and robust core services.
4) It has rich functionality such as SQLite support, location, audio recording, audio and video playback plus 2D and 3D graphics support.
5) The platform is based on Linux and the applications are developed using the Java 5.0 programming language.
